CHARACTER SHEET
Below is a Character Sheet that is use with Clix Campaign.
Heroclix Character Sheet

CHARACTERS
Aside from the figure itself, a character is made up of two main parts, the base and the combat dial.

  • The Base
Some characters look the same, but they have different ranks, team designations, or combat dials. Each character’s base is printed with a set symbol that marks it as part of a particular HeroClix set and a collector’s number to differentiate it from other characters that might look similar. Each character’s base also contains specific information relevant to how the character plays within the game.

  • The Combat Dial
The combat dial is the rotating disk found under a character’s base. A character’s combat dial displays a set of numbers through the L-shaped stat slot in the character’s base. These numbers indicate how well the character can accomplish certain tasks. Each time one of your characters takes damage during a game, you click—or turn—its combat dial clockwise once for each 1 damage taken. Each time your character is healed of damage during the game, turn its combat dial counterclockwise once for each 1 damage healed.

    • Combat Values
Each character has five combat values, as shown in Figure 2. Four of these values are on the combat dial and are visible through the stat slot: speed, attack, defense, and damage. These values usually change when you turn a character’s combat dial. The fifth value is the character’s range for ranged combat attacks; this value is printed on its base. Range does not change as you turn the combat dial. Each value appears next to its respective symbol.

    • Range Value The number of lightning bolts next to the range value is the number of different targets the character may attack when given one ranged combat attack action.

CLIX CAMPAIGN ETIQUETTE
To avoid or to resolve arguments, we suggest the following points of etiquette: • You will constantly pick up your characters during a game to look at or turn their dials. Mark the square your character was in with a token so that you return it to the correct square. • Situations that the rules don’t cover might occur, and players may disagree about how to resolve those situations. In all such instances, roll one six-sided die. On a result of 1–3, the action is not allowed; on a result of 4–6, the action is allowed.

Getting Started

Any character that possesses the Leadership Power is stripped of this power. The reason is explained in
Starting the Game, Rule #4.Any character that has an assigned Team Ability on their base (i.e. Avengers, X-Men,
Minion of Doom, etc.) is stripped of this ability. This is explained in Starting the Game, Rule #6.

  1. To start, players/teams starts with 100/150 Hero Points (H.P.'s) and 1000$.

  2. With these 100 H.P.'s, you purchase your character/ or characters for a team. This character is the founding member of the group, as well as any others that are chosen.

  3. All Characters must be Rookie Level (Yellow base) characters. However, in some cases, some characters Unique (Silver base) character is lower ranked than their Rookie (i.e. Cyclops and Captain America). In these cases, take the lower ranked character. Also, no character who possess the Battle Fury power can be a team leader. They are too unpredictable and wild to be trusted and too unruly to lead.

  4. The first character taken is recognized as the teams Leader. Give that character the Leadership Power as described in the HeroClix Rules.

  5. You can have no more than three (3) members. Any left over H.P.'s goes to the Team's Reserve.

  6. Now it doesn't matter if you have one character or a group, you still roll for team abilities. Roll on the Team Abilities Chart to see what Team Ability all your team members have. Roll a d6 twice to get results. (See Table Below)
2. A member of your team can carry up to 8 friendly figures when they move by either soaring of hovering.

3. Any line of fire drawn to a member of your Team that passes through hindering terrain, including the square the character occupies, is treated as though it is being drawn through blocking terrain.

4. A member of your Team can use the highest Defense value of any Team member in an adjacent square.

5. A member of your Team can use the highest Attack value of any Team member in an adjacent square.

6. Characters on this team ignore the effects of hindering terrain (including Team Abilities that grant hindering terrain bonuses) on movement and combat.

7. Team members may perform a move action without using one of your actions for the turn. Mark any character that moves this way with an action token.

8. If two Team members are adjacent, the character with the highest Points Value gains the Outwit power. If one of the characters is the Team Leader, he automatically gets it. If that highest character (or Leader) already has Outwit, this Ability has no effect.

9. Team Defense! If two or more team members are adjacent, any character who is victim to an attack (close combat or ranged) may add +2 to their Defense rating.

10. Two Team members occupying adjacent squares can exchange 1 click of damage. Give one member 1 click of damage and give the other member 1 click of healing. This counts as a move action for the member who takes damage, though the character does not move.

11. When two or more members of your Team are adjacent to an opposing character, they can all attack using only one of your actions. Mark any character that attacks this way with an action token.

12. When a member of your Team is defeated, every other member of your Team receives 1 click of healing.

7. Name your team! Your group is now ready to start patrolling the streets and stopping (or causing) trouble

TURNS AND ACTIONS

Now in Clix Campaign the turns and actions are different then normal heroclix. Every character gets three
actions each turn. Now they do not have to use all of them or in any special order, unless noted otherwise. The four kinds of actions you may give a character are, Move action, Combat action, Free action, and Power action.

  • POWER ACTIONS : A power action is an action given to a character that allows it to use a power, team ability, or feat. Unless stated otherwise, if a character may move during a power action, all normal movement rules apply normally.
  • FREE ACTIONS : A free action may be taken at any time, independent of either attacking or moving, or in the middle of either. A free action may be used to change a clip, change a battery pack, get item, use item, etc..
  • COMBAT ACTIONS : You can give a character two types of combat actions: close combat actions and ranged combat actions. Both types of combat actions are described in Chapter III - Movement & Attacking.
  • MOVE ACTIONS : Each character has a symbol printed on its base next to its speed value to designate how it moves. All movement action are described in Chapter III - Movement & Attacking.
